Babushkina Krynka wins choice of the year contest
Two kinds of dairy products made by Babushkina Krynka OJSC have won the international Choice of The Year 2008 contest, head of the company’s marketing department Natalya Shablovskaya told Interfax-West.
According to the source, drinking yoghurt and a creamy curd dessert under Happy Grandchildren brand were voted to be the best in the corresponding nominations.
Shablovskaya reminded that the choice of the year is made by customers, which makes the victory particularly important for the company.
According to the source, Happy Grandchildren drinking yoghurt has a great nutritious value due to a high content of protein and live yoghurt bacteria. In turn, the creamy curd dessert contains an optimal balance of calcium and phosphorus and is well digested.
In January-April 2009 Babushkina Krynka OJSC produced BYR 107 billion worth of goods in comparable prices, or 13% up on the year. The output of consumer goods rose by 21% to reach BYR 65 billion. Over the period in question 40% of the company’s output was exported.
The source attributes the growth to the recent upgrading of production facilities, which enabled the company to improve the quality of goods and launch a number of brand new products.
At the moment, the company offers over 250 kinds of dairy products, the source reminded. Babushkina Krynka supplies dairy products to all regional centres and large towns of Belarus. The necessary raw stuff comes from nine districts of Mogilev Region.
